I can't even begin to imagine the pain they’ve had to face. Something that resonated with me was how the community rallied around them, remembering Elijah for who he truly was—a talented young man with a bright future ahead of him. The basketball community in Windsor Locks has been vocal about their love for Elijah, which speaks volumes about the impact he had on those around him. It's comforting to see that justice has been served with Baez’s conviction, but it leaves me thinking about the lost potential and how such violence has robbed the world of a promising young life. Does anyone know if there are any community initiatives or scholarships in his name? It would be heartening to see his legacy live on in a way that continues to uplift others.
