Hey everyone, I was just thinking about the timeline of Casey Schoonover’s case and how quickly things unfolded back in 2020. It's honestly a relief that law enforcement acted so swiftly once Davis Omar Roman Villanueva was identified as a suspect. To be able to locate and arrest him in Puerto Rico within weeks speaks volumes about the cooperation between agencies. But I can’t imagine how Casey's family must have felt during those two months before Villanueva was extradited back to Connecticut. That wait must have been agonizing, not knowing what was going to happen next. I hope this brings some comfort to them, knowing justice has been served, even if nothing can truly make up for their loss. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this tragedy. — JessaR82
