Has anyone else been thinking about the unique bond Corey had with his nephew, Jeffery Acoff III? It really struck me how close they were, almost like brothers more than uncle and nephew. I can't imagine what Jeffery is going through right now, losing someone so important in his life. Given that they lived with Mary May, there must have been lots of cherished family moments and memories that Jeffery will now hold onto forever. It’s so painful to think about how much Corey will be missed, not only by his daughter but by his little nephew who probably looked up to him in so many ways. I hope Jeffery has a strong support system around him during this difficult time. If anyone here knows Jeffery, please remind him how important it is to lean on loved ones right now. And for those in the Hartford area, keep pressing for justice for Corey—someone out there knows something, and maybe all it takes is one tip to change everything. Stay vigilant, everyone.
