Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Jermaine Davis's case closely and something that's been occupying my thoughts is the recovery of the burned-out Infiniti in South Windsor. The fact that the vehicle was found burned makes me think that the perpetrators really planned this out and wanted to eliminate any evidence trail. Makes me wonder if they were seasoned criminals or maybe just panicking. Either way, it’s such a calculated move and so chilling to think about, considering it was used for such a violent act.
Jermaine’s family must be going through so much right now, and the lack of immediate answers must be weighing heavily on them. It’s unsettling that no arrests have been made yet, but I hope the police can get some leads from this burned vehicle to bring some justice for Jermaine and the other victims.
Has anyone heard if there’s been any updates about what investigators might have picked up from this, or any details about the make or model year they're focusing on? It's just hard to wrap my head around why and how things like this happen...
Stay safe, folks, and let’s keep supporting the community and remember Jermaine. His friends and family deserve answers.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the discussions on Jermaine Davis's case, and something that's been on my mind is the use of ShotSpotter technology. I wonder how effective these systems are in actually helping solve crimes. I read that the Hartford Police Department responded thanks to multiple ShotSpotter activations that night. While it's great that they have these tools for rapid response, I can't help but feel for Jermaine's family and friends who have yet to see any real progress or arrests.
Has anyone here seen ShotSpotter tech lead to concrete results in similar cases? It seems like it happens too often where they get the alerts but struggle to bring anyone to justice. It's tough knowing how many lives are impacted by these tragic events. Any insights would be appreciated. Let's hope there's some breakthrough soon so Jermaine's family can have some peace of mind.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been following the Jermaine Davis case, and something that's been really bothering me is the burned-out Infiniti that was found in South Windsor. It’s chilling to think that the shooters took such calculated steps to cover their tracks. Does anyone else think the car being torched might mean that the attack was more organized than initially thought? It seems like a lot of effort to destroy evidence haphazardly. My heart goes out to Jermaine’s family and friends. I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through, with so much still unclear about who was behind this senseless act. It can’t be easy knowing there are still no arrests. Hoping the community steps forward with any information that could bring some semblance of justice. Stay strong, Hartford.
