I've been following the tragic case of Jorge Delgado, or "Spazz" as many affectionately knew him, and something that keeps nagging at me is the location where it happened. South Frontage Road, right by Yale New Haven Hospital, isn't exactly a deserted area, even at night. It's baffling that no eyewitnesses have come forward who might have seen or heard something.
I can't help but wonder if there's some sort of surveillance footage that might be available from nearby businesses or the hospital itself. In recent years, hospitals and commercial areas have beefed up their security measures, including cameras. If anyone local to New Haven knows about the usual police procedures in utilizing such resources, can you share your insights?
It's just so upsetting thinking about how Jorge's family and friends are living day by day without any resolution. They deserve answers and closure.
