It's incredibly sad to lose another person in our community to such senseless violence. I’ve been thinking a lot about the intersection where Raymond Lewis was shot—Wethersfield Avenue and Elliott Street. It’s a spot many of us pass daily, and now it’s forever marked by this tragic event. It makes me wonder about the circumstances leading up to that night. Did anyone witness anything unusual or hear something that seemed out of the ordinary before the shooting? Given how close-knit parts of Hartford are, it's hard not to believe someone out there might have seen something that could be crucial to understanding what happened. Sending strength and condolences to Raymond's family and friends in this difficult time. The neighborhood is with you, standing in solidarity and hoping for peace and justice.
