I've been reading more about Minerva's role in this case, and I can't help but feel for her. At only 15, she was thrown into this horrific situation involving her own family. Imagine the pressure she must have faced, deciding to testify against her parents and brother. It's such a heavy burden for someone so young. Her testimony was key in bringing about justice for Jonathan Selby, but I wonder what impact this had on the rest of her life. Did she find any peace after everything, or was she forever haunted by what happened? It's chilling to think about the position she was put in, between loyalty to her family and doing what was right. My heart goes out to her—and to all of those touched by such a brutal crime.
