Has anyone else been looking into the involvement of deputized citizens during this tragic incident? It’s haunting to think about how quickly members of a community can get caught up in a cycle of violence, marked by fear and anger. Sheriff Greer was doing his duty, trying to maintain peace, and yet this situation rapidly spiraled out of control. I can’t imagine how terrifying and chaotic it must have been for everyone involved.
