Has anyone else been curious about the type of firearm used in the 1924 Fouke shooting? I’m trying to piece together any bits of information on this tragic event that ended the lives of Charles Dixon, James Dixon, and Walter Armstrong. It's such a mystery with so little surviving documentation. In those days, it might have been a common hunting rifle or a revolver, but sadly, it's hard to say for sure without more records. ? If anyone has family stories or has come across any local lore from that era, it would be fascinating to hear. Just trying to bring some closure to the families and descendants who might still be wondering. These men deserve to be remembered and their story understood as fully as possible. ?️

Has anyone else delved into the background of Charles and James Dixon, or Walter Armstrong? I'm trying to piece together any parallels or connections in their lives that might shed light on why they were all targeted. It's tragic and so frustrating that there's sparse info. It’s like they were just erased from history. Does anyone have access to local records or know of any family members who might have shared stories or kept any scrapbooks or letters from that era? Sometimes oral histories or old family papers hold the keys that official records don't. If anyone is local to the area or has any ideas on where to search next, I'd really appreciate the guidance. These men deserve to have their story told.
