Has anyone else looked into the emotional impact on the families involved in the Rector case? I can't stop thinking about how truly devastating this must have been for Arthur Criswell's family, knowing his life was cut so short by such a senseless act of violence. And then there’s Officer Martin’s loved ones, who had to grapple with losing him in the line of duty. All of this must have been incredibly difficult to process—especially with how public the case became.
It's chilling to think about how these two incidents unfolded in such quick succession. I wonder how the victims' families coped with not only their personal grief but also the overwhelming media attention surrounding the trials and appeals. It's got to weigh on families already dealing with unimaginable loss. There's not much mention of their perspectives in most reports, but I’d be interested in hearing if anyone knows more. My heart really goes out to them.
