I've been thinking about the role of surveillance footage from the FunWash laundromat. It's really saddening to consider that Scot Sherman's last moments were partially captured on tape. While it didn't show the actual shooting, the footage did assist the investigation by helping identify Terrick Terrell Nooner. It makes me wonder about the impact of this evidence on the jury during the trial. Those images, even though they didn't capture the worst moment, likely brought a visceral reality to the courtroom. It must have been extremely difficult for Scot's family to see any part of that footage, knowing those were some of the final moments of his life. My heart truly goes out to them for enduring such pain and to anyone who had to relive those moments during the trial. What do others think about how impactful this kind of evidence can be in court?
