In light of the Jonesboro tragedy, I've been thinking a lot about the aftermath and how those involved cope with such an unimaginable event. One thing that's really stuck with me is how the community came together to honor Shannon and the other victims. The sundial memorial behind Westside Middle School is such a poignant tribute. It seems like such a peaceful place for people to reflect and remember those they lost. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for Shannon's family and the families of the other victims to find some semblance of peace. The fact that the community rallied to create a space where people can gather and heal speaks volumes about their resilience and compassion. Has anyone here visited the memorial? I’ve read that it’s a very moving site. How has it impacted those of you who have been there, and do you think it serves its purpose in helping people to heal?
