Did anyone else find it strange that Butch was still holding his dry cleaning when he was found? It seems so unsettling, almost as if whatever happened, happened so suddenly when he got home. The fact that there was no forced entry is puzzling too. It makes me wonder if he knew the person or felt comfortable enough to let them in. It's just chilling to think such a thing could happen in what he must have thought was the safety of his own home. My heart goes out to his daughter, Leslie, and the rest of his family. It must be unbearable not knowing who did this or why. Hoping that with enough eyes and ears on this case, someone will come forward with crucial information. Please, if anyone knows anything, reach out to the authorities. Both the family and our community need answers and peace.
Hey everyone, I've been following the Earnest "Butch" Kennedy case, and something that's been on my mind is the whole situation with the dry cleaning. It's such a chilling detail... to think he was just going about his usual day, picking up dry cleaning, probably thinking about dinner or the weekend, completely unaware of what was about to happen. It’s these small, everyday details that really bring home the horror of what's happened.
I can't help but think that maybe the dry cleaning could hold some kind of clue? Maybe there was an encounter at the dry cleaner’s that was significant? Adjusting for such mundane parts of life, it feels like there has to be something there. It's also frustrating that nobody in the neighborhood saw or heard anything. It makes me wonder if someone was watching him, knew his routine, or even someone he trusted.
My heart goes out to Leslie and everyone who loved him. It must be an unbearable weight, not having answers after all this time.
