I can't get over the profound loss felt by the Little Rock community and the families affected by this unimaginable tragedy. Lisa Minor's contributions as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units must have touched countless lives. It's hard to think about all those tiny infants she cared for, given nurturing starts at life, and then to see her life cut short in such a devastating way. And Betty Jo's history as a telephone operator has this nostalgic charm—it reminds me of an era of community and connection that we often miss today. I just keep thinking about Lisa’s grandkids and the legacy of love these women left behind. My thoughts are with all of them during this incredibly difficult time.
