Does anyone else find it really troubling that Patrick Malone had been harboring these thoughts for five or six years without anyone noticing? It makes me wonder about the level of mental health awareness and support he had access to, especially in a small community like Garfield, Arkansas. I can't imagine the pain the Malone family must be going through, not only losing Christel in such a tragic way but also dealing with the aftermath of the son’s actions. It's a stark reminder of how crucial it is to address mental health issues early on and provide support before they escalate to this point. My heart goes out to the family during this impossibly difficult time.
