Has anyone else been thinking about the broader issue of gun violence involving teenagers, especially in cases like Gary Parker's tragic death? It's devastating to think about how a young life can get caught up in something so serious. I can’t imagine what Gary’s family—especially his stepmother Betty and sister Danna—must be going through right now. Just sitting in his living room, a space where you’d expect to be safest, and then this happens. It makes you wonder about the guidance and support systems—or lack thereof—that these teens have. What do you all think can be done to address the root causes of such incidents? I hope the community finds some solace and direction from this tragedy to prevent future occurrences.
