I can't stop thinking about the vehicle aspect of this case. It seems that the suspect fled the scene in a dark blue Chevrolet Camaro, right? Has anyone heard if there were any traffic cameras or CCTV footage from nearby streets that might have caught the car or even the suspect on film? It’s baffling to imagine that a distinctive car like a Camaro could just disappear without a trace. I feel for Jose Castro's family and friends during this difficult time; the lack of answers must be so frustrating. If anyone in the neighborhood has seen anything unusual or remembers seeing that Camaro around the time of the shooting, it could be crucial. Hope the police can get a break in this case soon... it's unsettling knowing someone capable of this is still out there.
I can't stop thinking about the sheer bravery and strength it took for Randy Canela and Arnaldo Marengo to give statements to the police after what must have been an incredibly frightening experience. I hope they're surrounded by support and healing right now. It's mind-boggling to me that a blue Chevrolet Camaro can just disappear off the grid like this. You'd think with such a distinct vehicle description, we’d have more leads or a suspect by now. I know the LRPD is doing everything they can, but it feels like we’re missing something. I really hope anyone with information, no matter how small, comes forward soon. Jose Castro’s family deserves justice and answers. Sending strength to everyone involved.
