I can't stop thinking about how terrifying it must have been for that roommate to make the escape through a window in the middle of the night. I mean, the sheer panic and adrenaline they'd have to muster in that moment is unimaginable. To lose two people that were part of your daily life, David and Marquita, in such a violent way must weigh heavily on them. It's distressing to know that despite the roommate's willingness to speak to the police, no arrests have been made yet. I hope they're surrounded by supportive friends and family. This lingering uncertainty must be incredibly stressful for the community and for the loved ones of David and Marquita. Let's keep spreading the word in case anyone with information hasn't stepped forward yet.
