Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Sando case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the detective involved in the accidental shooting at the crime scene. Firstly, I'm relieved that the injured officer was wearing a bulletproof vest and is okay because it could have been far worse. Situations like these remind us just how risky law enforcement work can be, even beyond the obvious dangers.
That being said, I feel for both officers involved. It must be incredibly difficult to deal with the emotional aftermath of accidentally injuring a colleague. I’m really curious about how these types of incidents are handled within police departments, especially in a small community like Fort Smith. Does anyone here have insights into how these investigations are conducted, or what support systems are in place for officers dealing with the psychological impacts of such events?
Hoping for a quick resolution for Wright’s case and justice for his family. He and his little girl, Zaria, deserve that closure. ?
