Has anyone looked into the music scene in Ottawa around the time Angela Hartmann went missing? I’ve seen in some other cold cases that local events and communities sometimes hold clues. Angela was last seen there, and given she was young and traveling, she might have interacted with people in that scene. Maybe she attended a concert or was at a popular hangout spot where someone might remember her. It's a long shot, but a lot of people on trips end up connecting over music and events. Just a thought in case any of us are digging through archives or have old connections in that area!

Has anyone looked into whether Angela might have been traveling with someone during her last known movements? I’ve been reading up on her case, and it struck me that her postcards to family and friends might hold clues about potential travel companions. Did any of the postcards mention other people she met along the way? Sometimes, these little details can provide leads that were overlooked initially. It’s a long shot, but maybe retracing her social interactions from those postcards could shed new light on what happened back in 1983. Thoughts?

I was looking into Angela Caroline Hartmann's case, and one thing that stood out to me was her planned attendance at Trent University in Peterborough. It seems like she was so close to starting this new chapter in her life, yet she vanished just before it all began. I wonder if there's any significance to her plans to attend Trent. Were there others traveling or enrolling at the university during that time who might have crossed paths with her or noticed anything unusual? It would be interesting to find out if anyone from that era at Trent remembers hearing about Angela's travels or disappearance. It feels like such a key transition point, and maybe there's someone out there with a missing piece of information.
