The surveillance footage from the motel must have been incredibly powerful in this case. It's truly unsettling to think about how close Shane and the person responsible were to each other. The video evidence seems to have left no doubt and may have been what led Leslie Sinclair to plead guilty rather than go through a trial. I genuinely feel for Shane's family; having to see that footage introduced in court must have been so painful. While nothing can bring Shane back, knowing the person responsible is serving time might provide a bit of solace. The whole situation is just so sad. My heart goes out to everyone affected.
