Hey everyone,
I've been following this case from the get-go, and something that continues to stick with me is the community’s response. Watching how the church and neighbors rallied around the families of James, Tami, and Cheyenne has been truly touching. They’ve set up memorials and have been providing support and comfort in every way they can, from organizing meals to holding vigils. It’s a testament to the impact these individuals had on their community and the deep sense of loss felt by everyone.
It's hard not to think about how the survivors, especially Cheyenne’s child, will navigate the future. Growing up without knowing their mother, but surrounded by a community that clearly cares so deeply—it's a lot to process. Does anyone know of any efforts or funds set up for the child or whether the community plans to continue their support long-term? This tragedy has left so many with a sense of helplessness, but the collective kindness and solidarity have been a silver lining. Sending strength and love to everyone affected.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Wesley, Arkansas case, and it’s just so utterly shocking. One thing I can’t stop thinking about is the role of mental health assessments in criminal cases like this one. Given that Hunter’s trial has been delayed because they’re still waiting on the results of his mental evaluation, it makes me wonder about how mental health plays into the justice system. From what I’ve read, these evaluations can take such a long time, and it feels like it adds to the pain for the families who are waiting for some form of closure. I obviously hope that justice is served and that the court gets a clear picture of his mental state before the trial proceeds. Has anyone else seen similar delays in cases they’ve followed? How do the victims’ families cope with such drawn-out legal processes? It just seems like such an additional layer of agony on top of an already unspeakable tragedy. Keeping the families in my thoughts as they pursue justice for James, Tami, and Cheyenne.
