Has anyone else come across any news or updates regarding the decision to drop charges against Lloyd Edward Barber III for the 2019 assault on Larry Joe Hatton? It's really puzzling to me, and I can't imagine how tough it must be for Larry's family not to have any closure on this. I understand that Barber had a lot on his plate legally, but it seems like there's more to the story. Given his violent past, it feels like there might be some gaps in the justice system that allowed Barber to walk away without facing consequences from the earlier attack. Larry's family must be feeling so lost without answers. Does anyone know if there have been any further investigations or statements about why the charges were dropped?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the assault Larry Joe Hatton endured back in 2019, and I can't help but feel so deeply for his family. This event must have cast such a long shadow over the years leading up to his passing. Six broken ribs is such a brutal injury, and I can’t imagine how much pain he must have been in. It’s really frustrating to see that the charges against Barber were dropped, especially since Larry shared his experience firsthand. I truly hope his family finds some measure of peace despite all these unresolved issues. If anything new comes up about the circumstances of his death, I hope justice will follow. Has anyone heard any recent updates?
