I’ve been following Catreal Miller’s case closely, and my thoughts are with his loved ones dealing with this unimaginable loss. Something that really struck me is how important community safety and gun violence prevention have become in the wake of this tragedy. We hear about these issues all the time, but when it hits so close to home, it becomes that much more urgent. The fact that a young life was taken away in such a senseless act really highlights a broader societal problem. I wonder what steps local leaders and the community could take to collaboratively address these issues. Could more community programs or initiatives aimed at engaging with Little Rock's youth help in preventing future violence? It feels like the community needs to come together now more than ever to ensure something like this doesn’t happen again. What do you all think could actually make a difference here? Has anyone seen effective solutions in other communities?
