It's been almost two years since Broderick Maurice Parker Jr. was taken from this world so senselessly, and I still find myself thinking about how fragile life can be. I didn't know Broderick personally, but from the tributes I've seen, his presence left a meaningful mark on the lives around him. I hope justice, alongside community support, can offer some solace to his loved ones, though I know it will never fill the void of losing someone so dear. As we follow the legal proceedings and continue to seek understanding of that day's occurrences, my thoughts remain with those mourning Broderick's loss.
