Anyone else feeling deeply for Leighton’s fiancée right now? I can't even begin to imagine the trauma she went through, not only being hospitalized but then witnessing such a violent act in a place that's supposed to be safe. It’s appalling how Lovett thought it was okay to play judge and jury based on suspicions alone. Even if he believed he was protecting her, there’s no justification for taking a life. This must be a devastatingly complex situation for her, losing a loved one while caught in the middle of all this chaos. I hope she finds the support she needs to heal from such a terrifying ordeal. It’s truly so hard to wrap your head around how anyone could justify something like this.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragedy that occurred in that hospital room. I can't even imagine the shock and devastation Leighton's fiancée must have felt, witnessing such a horrific event, and then being left alone to call for help. The courage it must have taken her to press that emergency button in the midst of chaos is truly commendable. It's unsettling to think about how quickly an ordinary visit could turn into a nightmare. It makes me wonder about the impact on the hospital staff and patients who were there that day—how do you cope with such a traumatic situation unfolding in a place meant for healing? My thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless act, and I hope they're finding the support they need during this difficult time.
