Did anyone else feel the eerie vibe around 8th and Douglas during the Taste of Omaha Festival back in '06? I was there and remember how lively it was, kids running around with cotton candy, families enjoying themselves. It's hard to process that such an ordinary day ended so tragically. Damien's story has been on my mind a lot lately. It's baffling that no arrests have been made all these years. My heart goes out to his family, especially knowing he was looking forward to becoming a father. If anyone remembers seeing something that day, even if it seems small, please come forward. Damien deserves justice, and his family deserves closure.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Damien Lessley Jr.'s case for a while now, and I keep circling back to the location where the tragedy happened. The pedestrian bridge at 8th and Douglas is such a public place, especially during a big event like the Taste of Omaha. It's baffling how no one saw or heard anything that could help piece together what happened to Damien. With so many people around, you’d think someone would have noticed something unusual or seen something that didn’t sit right. It’s such a tragic loss, knowing that a life so full of potential was cut short. His family deserves answers, and it’s frustrating to think they’re still waiting for that closure. If anyone was there that day or knows someone who was, even the smallest detail could make a difference. Let’s help Damien’s family find the justice they so desperately need.
