Does anyone else find the role of Dr. William Hunter in all of this incredibly tragic? Not only did he lose his young son, Thomas, in such a horrific manner, but he must have lived with the constant fear and guilt over the connection between the murders and his decisions as a supervisor. I can't even begin to imagine how he and his family have coped with these unimaginable losses while knowing that their past interactions with Garcia might have sparked this violence. It seems like there would be endless "What if?" questions looping in his mind. Sending lots of support and strength to the Hunter family. ? Would love to hear your thoughts on how communities can support those who've gone through similar tragedies.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the psychological toll these kinds of cases must take on the families involved, especially those who were linked through Creighton University. Imagine knowing that a professional conflict could end in such a terrifying way. I read somewhere about how academic and professional environments can sometimes become pressure cookers, but you never truly expect them to boil over like this. The entire community at Creighton must have been on edge, feeling that fear ripple through both the university and hospital systems. It's heartening to see that the investigators were persistent in connecting the dots between the tragic events from 2008 to 2013. I am hopeful that those affected can find some semblance of peace now that justice has been served.
