Has anyone else been looking into the kind of work Deputy Edwards was doing around the time of his murder? From what I’ve read, it seems like he might've been dealing with some pretty heavy stuff, especially if it led to such a brutal attack. Whatever he was working on, it must've made someone feel seriously threatened. I just can't shake the feeling that there was more going on that we don’t fully understand, possibly involving others besides the rancher and his sons. Also, it's really painful to think about his wife and daughters bearing the brunt of all this. The emotional and financial toll on them must’ve been enormous. Without answers or justice for over a century, I'm hoping that at least someone out there might have passed down stories or information that could shed new light on this case. It feels like they deserve that, and so does Deputy Edwards.

Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Deputy Sheriff Charles B. Edwards, and I can't stop thinking about the profound impact his murder must have had on his daughters. Growing up without a father must have been incredibly challenging, especially knowing that his life was taken so violently and unjustly. It’s so difficult to imagine the pain and anger they must have carried all these years, knowing the people responsible seemed to escape any consequences. I truly hope they’ve found some form of peace over time. It's frustrating to think about how the legal system failed to bring the perpetrators to justice back then. The evidence might have been lacking, but it's so disappointing that Deputy Edwards’ family never saw closure. This case really highlights how important it is for law enforcement to work together and ensure that no stone is left unturned. It's tough enough for the family to lose Charles, but even harder when justice wasn't served. Sending my heartfelt thoughts to his descendants, who continue to deal with this unresolved part of their family's history. Best, [Username]
