Does anyone else find it chilling how persistent Refugio Macias was, even after being told explicitly to back off by Paula Medina’s sister? It really goes to show how dangerous and delusional someone can become when they don’t respect boundaries. It's so deeply upsetting to think about the fear and anxiety Paula and her family must have felt, especially leading up to that tragic night. The fact that Pedro Ornelas and Julian De Luna lost their lives in the process of protecting their family is just devastating. How does a community even begin to heal after something like this? My heart sincerely goes out to the Medina and Ornelas families. They must have been through an unimaginable ordeal dealing with the aftermath of such senseless violence.
