I can't stop thinking about how tough it must have been for Virginia Cook's coworkers at Dispatch Laundry. The shock of losing someone you see every day in such a violent way is unimaginable. I wonder how they coped with the news and if the cafe and laundry changed anything after the tragedy to support their staff. It’s disheartening to think about the lasting impact this must have had on them and the sense of security in their workplace. Sending thoughts to all who knew her and had their lives altered by this horrific event.

Does anyone else find it unsettling how easy it seemed for Lonnie Craft to acquire a gun that day? I can't help but think of Virginia Cook and how her life might have been spared if this wasn't the case. It's just terribly sad that a moment of rejection turned into such a horrific act of violence. I'm curious if anyone has more information on gun laws at the time in Arizona or how they might have changed after incidents like this. My heart goes out to Virginia's family and friends who had to endure such a senseless loss.
