Does anyone else think about the survivors and the courage it took to make it through such an unimaginably horrific experience? I've been reading about the Rose-Mar College of Beauty shooting, and I can't stop thinking about Bonita Sue Harris. She was just 18 at the time, and having the presence of mind to play dead after being shot twice is beyond words. Her survival in such a horrifying situation is nothing short of miraculous. I hope she's found peace and some way to move forward after such trauma. It's so important to remember her bravery and that of all the victims in these discussions. Their stories deserve to be told with the respect and empathy they truly deserve.
Has anyone else been deeply affected by the bravery shown by Joyce Sellers during this horrific tragedy? It's unfathomable to think of her tragic end while she heroically tried to protect her baby girl, Tamera. Her actions embody the unconditional love and fierce protection only a parent can have. I came across an old interview with some of Joyce's friends, and their stories about her kindness and strength have really stayed with me. It's a heavy reminder of the incredible lives lost that day and the families forever changed. Just hoping to create a space to honor her courage and talk about the beautiful souls behind the tragedy. Thinking of all the survivors and the pain that echoes down through generations. What a senseless and profound loss for the community.
