Hey everyone, I've been reading a lot about the tragic events at Rose-Mar College of Beauty, and one thing that's been really sticking with me is the unimaginable pain Carol Pope Farmer's family must have felt. We often talk about the victims in these cases, and rightfully so, but her family's experience is a reminder of the deep ripples of sorrow that follow such atrocities. I can't imagine how her husband, Terry, felt being miles away serving in Alaska, hearing about the loss of his young wife. And for her parents, Sgt. Vernon and Ella, it’s beyond comprehension to bury their daughter at just 19. They spent their lives serving and protecting as part of the military, only to experience such a profound personal loss themselves. It's comforting, in a small way, to know they are all resting together now, but my heart truly goes out to them and the survivors, who have to live with the memories of that day. Remembering them honors not just their loss, but also the importance of fighting to prevent such senseless violence in the future.
