It's so hard to grasp how some people can reach such a breaking point that they end up hurting the very people they should protect. I've been thinking a lot about that poor little girl, Seleste. She was only five years old and had her whole life ahead of her. It's incredibly difficult to comprehend someone being capable of taking such an innocent life. I can't imagine the pain Susan’s family must have felt losing both Susan and sweet Seleste in such a horrific and senseless way. It just makes you hold your own loved ones a little tighter. I hope that Milo’s other child, who was just a baby at the time, was able to find peace and healing as he grew up. It's just an unimaginable tragedy that changed so many lives forever.

I've been reading about the tragic events surrounding Susan Stanley and her family, and my heart truly aches for those they left behind. It's absolutely chilling to think about the final moments in that car, especially for a little girl like Seleste. The level of betrayal and horror she must have felt from her father, who should have been her protector, is just unimaginable. It's striking to realize how domestic abuse can escalate so dramatically and lead to such irreversible actions. I wish there were more resources or awareness back in the '80s that could have intervened in time. Hopefully, sharing Susan and Seleste’s story can help encourage others to seek help before things reach a breaking point. Sending strength to their surviving family members who have had to carry on with these memories.

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Susan Stanley and her daughter Seleste, and it just hits so hard knowing how a family can be torn apart like that. I read about how Susan was known to be incredibly close to her family, always keeping in touch with her parents and siblings. I can't even begin to fathom the pain her loved ones must have felt upon receiving the news of her murder. It's one thing to hear about such events, but when it's someone you care about, it’s a whole different story. From what I've gathered, Susan's sister has been outspoken throughout the years, fighting to keep Susan's and Seleste's memories alive. It's inspiring in a way, seeing how she channels her grief into advocacy against domestic violence. It’s a sobering reminder of the long-lasting impacts these horrible acts have on the families left to pick up the pieces. I'm curious if anyone else has come across interviews or articles highlighting how the Stanley family has been coping all these years? I think there's so much strength in their resilience. Thoughts and love to everyone affected by this tragedy.
