I’ve been reading through the details of the James McClain case, and my thoughts really go out to his family and friends. One thing that stands out is how passionate he was about restoring cars, a hobby that no doubt brought him a lot of joy. It’s hard to grasp how someone’s peaceful life and interests can be shattered in such a terrifying way. Knowing he poured so much heart into his projects and the legacy he created with those cars makes the loss seem all the more unbearable. I think about all the untold stories those cars could've told and how that passion was cruelly cut short. We often focus on the crime, but remembering the person and what they loved helps keep their spirit alive.
