I’ve been thinking a lot about the ongoing struggle to access public records in the Zubia murder case. It's troubling that it took so much money and legal wrangling just for the public to get a glimpse at the investigation details. It makes me wonder if there are bigger issues within the system that are holding back transparency. I can’t even begin to imagine the frustration and pain the relatives, if any are left of the Zubia family, must feel knowing that answers are tucked away behind a wall of red tape. If this kind of thing is happening with such a high-profile case, what does it mean for others? It’s a real reminder of how important it is to push for reforms in how cases are handled and how information is disseminated to the public. If anyone here has experience dealing with similar issues, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what more can be done to help bring justice to the Zubia family and other similar cold cases.
