Has anyone else read about the tragic incident in Arlington involving Dayton "Day Day" Allen and Alexis Johniyah Tyler? I just can’t wrap my head around how senseless this act was. I can't stop thinking about how Dayton moved to Texas for a safer life, and now his family is left grieving such an immense loss, just as he was about to celebrate his birthday. What really stands out to me is the choice of the short-term rental for his birthday celebration. It makes you wonder about the safety protocols for these places, especially considering how close it was to a major venue like AT&T Stadium. I’m hoping more attention will be given to improving security measures in these types of rental properties. If anyone has tips or information, standing by and staying silent should not be an option. I hope the authorities can gather more CCTV footage because every bit helps when it comes to catching those responsible for such a senseless and devastating crime. My heart goes out to both families—no parent should have to endure such a loss. Let's keep the conversation going and make sure justice is served for Dayton and Alexis.
