I’ve been following the case of Daremon Waldon's tragic passing, and I can't stop thinking about how someone so young could show such immense bravery. At just 17, Daremon's instinct was to protect his mom during such a terrifying moment. I can't imagine the strength it must have taken for him to put his own safety aside for hers. It's clear that he was an incredibly special person, just as his friends and family describe him. I didn’t know him personally, but seeing the community come together for the vigils shows just how much he meant to everyone. It’s incredibly troubling that the suspect is still on the loose, and I can’t help but feel anxious knowing that justice hasn’t been served yet. If anyone around Chattanooga knows anything that could help the authorities, I really hope they step up. Daremon and his family deserve peace. My thoughts go out to them; may they find strength during this unimaginable time.

I can't stop thinking about how incredibly brave Daremon was during such a terrifying situation. His instinct to protect his mom shows the kind of person he was—selfless and full of love for his family. It’s a gut-wrenching reminder of how precious life is, and how someone so young can embody such strength and courage. I can’t imagine what Rhonda and the rest of the family are going through right now. For the community, it's a call to action to speak up and help bring the suspect to justice. It’s so important for everyone to rally around his family and support them in whatever way we can. Hoping for peace and healing for them and that the authorities find the person responsible soon. Stay strong, Waldon family, we’re all here with you.

Hi everyone, I've been following the tragedy of Daremon Waldon's murder, and I can't stop thinking about the courage he showed in those last moments. It's incredibly moving, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person he was. What stands out to me is the community's response. The numerous vigils and memorials aren't just acts of mourning but also powerful expressions of unity and hope for change. It's uplifting to see so many people come together to honor Daremon's bravery and highlight the urgent need to tackle gun violence. Does anyone know if there are ongoing efforts or initiatives in Chattanooga to address these issues more actively? Like community meetings or outreach programs aiming to reduce violence? I think supporting those could be a meaningful way to continue Daremon's legacy of protecting loved ones.
