I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the beautiful community response to D'Angelo's passing. The candlelight vigil organized in his memory was truly moving and showed just how much love and light this little boy brought into the world. It's touching to see neighbors, friends, and even strangers come together in solidarity with the Alcorn family during this incredibly difficult time. The stories shared about D'Angelo's kindness and laughter remind us all of the joy he spread in his short life. While the conversation often centers around the tragedy and its circumstances, I think it's essential we don't lose sight of who D'Angelo was - a cherished son, a playful friend, and a vibrant presence at his school. His memory deserves to be celebrated with the same joy that he brought to those around him. Sending all my love and strength to his family, classmates, and everyone affected. Let's keep supporting one another and continue advocating for safety and awareness so no family has to endure such pain again.
