Has anyone else been thinking about the role mental health might have played in this tragic event? It's so sad to think about Nick's two young sons growing up without their father, and I can't help but wonder if things could have been different if the suspect, William Abney, had gotten the help he needed before it came to this. We know Nick was loved by his family and friends, and reading about his memory being honored by such a supportive community is touching. But as we come together to support Nick's family, maybe we should also focus on advocating for mental health resources and initiatives, especially those that target young men who may be struggling. It's a conversation we desperately need to continue in honor of Nick and others affected by such tragedies.
