I’ve been following the case of Marquis Hill and can’t shake off how this tragedy has affected not just his family but the entire Baltimore community. I came across the GoFundMe page set up for the funeral expenses—it’s heartbreaking to think about planning such a thing so unexpectedly, especially as we approach the holidays. It’s just a reminder of how fleeting life really is and how entire families are devastated by such violence. While I’m not a Baltimore resident, I understand the urge to reach out and help in any small way possible. It’s times like these that remind us of the importance of community support. For those who are local, maybe consider sharing the GoFundMe link or just spreading the word to anyone who might have been in the area that night. Any tip could be the key to getting justice for Marquis. Really hoping the police gather some leads soon. Marquis and his family deserve justice and closure. My heart just goes out to them.
