Hey everyone, I can’t stop thinking about Derwin James and what kind of father he must have been. It’s really telling that amidst such chaos, his instinct was to protect his son at all costs. Just heartbreaking to imagine what his kids, especially the 10-year-old, are going through right now. Losing a parent is never easy, but under these circumstances, it's unimaginable. I heard that Derwin was always there for his kids after his separation, and it just goes to show how committed he was to them. It's good to know the little boy is physically recovering, but I wonder how the family will cope emotionally with losing someone who seemed to be their rock. Anyone have any insight into how the community is supporting them or plans for gatherings to honor Derwin’s life? I’m hoping they’re surrounded by support in this tough time. Let’s keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
