It's truly so sad what happened to Sedrick Davis. I can't even begin to fathom what his family is going through right now. ? I read that the police responded to another fatal shooting on the same night in Baton Rouge. It's concerning to see that both cases have no suspects or motives identified yet. I really hope detectives can find a break in these cases soon. I heard there's a community effort to honor Sedrick by lighting candles online and sharing memories, and it's beautiful to see 54 candles already lit in his memory. It's important for the community to come together and support his family during this terribly difficult time. If anyone has any information, no matter how small or insignificant it might seem, please consider contacting the authorities. It's crucial for us, as a community, to help bring some peace for Sedrick's loved ones. Let's hope for justice soon.

I came across the news about Sedrick Davis's tragic death on Merganzer Avenue, and it just hit me so hard. From what I've been able to gather, he was a beloved member of the community. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are undoubtedly going through an incredibly painful time. I’m curious about the ShotSpotter technology that alerted police to the scene—does anyone know how reliable it really is? It's really distressing to think about how many incidents it might catch, and yet here we are with no leads or suspects in his case. It's so frustrating that more can't be done faster to find answers. I sincerely hope that anyone with information has the courage to come forward. Sharing what they know could make all the difference in providing some peace for Sedrick's loved ones. The community should rally together to help solve this unthinkable crime. Has anyone here attended any of the candlelight gatherings, or have thoughts on the recent rise in violence in Baton Rouge?
