I’ve been following the case of David Hernandez-Cervantez, and it’s just so painful to think about how young lives are torn apart by violence. I keep wondering about the youth involved. How does a 16-year-old end up in such a tragic situation? Our communities should focus on guiding young people and resolving issues before they become fatal. Maybe programs in conflict resolution or better support systems could help prevent future tragedies like this. Sending thoughts to David's family and hoping that the other young man recovers. No one should have to go through such unimaginable loss.
