Hey everyone, I just can't get Tyiun's courage out of my mind. It breaks my heart to think about how often he stepped in to protect his mom. It's clear he was an incredibly brave young man who faced unimaginable situations. Even as a high school senior with dreams of the open road, he acted with such maturity and love for his mother in those moments. It's so infuriating that despite having a restraining order, Jamar Calloway still managed to come back into their lives in such a devastating way. It makes you wonder what more can be done to protect victims of domestic violence. Clearly, Tyiun cared deeply for his mom, and it feels so unfair that things ended this way for both of them. My heart goes out to their family and the entire Bainbridge community. Seeing how they're coming together through the GoFundMe campaign is a reminder of the good out there, even during such challenging times. If anyone has thoughts on how we can advocate for better protective measures or any insights from similar cases, I'd be really interested to hear. We need to find ways to stop these tragedies from happening again. Stay safe, everyone.
