Has anyone else been following the case of Jessiah Mercado and her baby Messiah? The more details that emerge, the harder it is to wrap my head around how something so senseless could take place. In today's world, it's absolutely devastating to think that a disagreement over a car could escalate to something this violent. Jessiah seemed like she was doing her best to make a life for herself and her children after such a tough year. I'm really struck by the strength of her family, especially her aunt Tatiana, who had already been through so much loss. It's comforting to know that the community is rallying with the GoFundMe campaign, but I wish there was more we could do. Hoping for justice and peace for Jessiah's family. It’s unfathomable to think of the loss they’re enduring. Thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy.

Hey everyone, I've been following the absolutely tragic situation with Jessiah and her baby, and I can't stop thinking about her aunt, Tatiana Landa-Rijos. From what I've read, Jessiah saw her as her mom, which makes this all the more devastating for her. To lose a niece and a grandnephew in such a violent way, while already having faced the loss of her sister just a few months back, is unimaginable. I can't help but wonder how Jessiah's extended family is coping, especially given the loss of her birth mother not too long ago. It must be so hard to reconcile the fact that someone they all knew and possibly trusted could be responsible for such a horrific act. I hope they have a strong support system around them right now, as no one should have to navigate this kind of pain alone. Also, has anyone heard how the GoFundMe campaign is doing? I came across it in the articles but haven't checked back recently. With the reality of planning funerals and caring for surviving family members, I hope they are getting the help they so desperately need. My thoughts are with all of them.
