Hey everyone, just wanted to discuss an angle I don't think we’ve focused on much: the quick response by the police and how they handled the suspect, especially once they got to the detention center. This incident seems unusual and very intense, given that the suspect barricaded himself and caused harm to himself. I can't imagine the chaos and tension in that moment. The police had to use pepper spray to gain control, which must have been a tough decision. It’s crucial that they managed to prevent further injuries, but it makes me wonder about the suspect's state of mind and what led him to such extreme actions. While we're still in the dark about the motive and other details, it’s hard not to reflect on the complexities of what law enforcement faces in such situations. My heart goes out to Mikel’s family and friends and to everyone affected. Let’s hope for clarity as the investigation moves forward and hopefully some peace for those who knew and loved Mikel.
