Has anyone else been following the case of Dayshawn Martez Smith in El Dorado? I can’t help but feel drawn to the community’s efforts to support his family during this devastating time. I heard that they organized a candlelight vigil near the intersection of West Cook Street and Murphy Avenue where it happened, and the turnout was incredible. It seemed like everyone from town showed up to pay their respects and stand with his loved ones. I can't imagine the pain Dayshawn's family is going through right now, but seeing the community come together to honor his memory is truly touching.
