I've been following the developments in the Tempe shooting, and my thoughts go out to Anthony Carlos's family and the woman who's fighting for her life in the hospital. This whole incident is just so senseless, and it's deeply unsettling that the conflict allegedly started over Thanksgiving dinner. It's a reminder of how things can spiral out of control so quickly. I found it interesting (and concerning) that Miguel Rosas Galvan was supposedly on pre-trial release with an ankle monitor at the time. It makes me wonder about the systems in place for monitoring individuals who are already considered a risk. If someone can coordinate this level of violence while under such restrictions, doesn't this suggest some sort of flaw in the system? I'm really hopeful that, despite this, the authorities will get to the bottom of everything and that anyone else involved will be apprehended and held accountable. It’s crucial for the families and for the community’s peace of mind.
