I hope their combined efforts bring about some answers soon, and I hope someone with critical information finds the courage to come forward. Tommie's family deserves closure, and I truly hope justice is served.
The news of Tommie Montray Thornton's tragic and untimely death has really shaken the Tulia community. I didn't know Tommie personally, but I have heard so many people describe him as a peacemaker, which makes this senseless act of violence even more difficult to comprehend. It's hard to believe that someone who was known for diffusing tension could become a victim of such a brutal crime.
